Product Use:
1. In pesticide formulations:QS-3240 spray adjuvant can be used as a component of agrochemical formulations.
Although silicone surfactants are hydrolyzed under acidic or alkaline conditions. Optimum performance is achieved by buffering the formulation to pH 6.5 - 7.5.
In addition, it is recommended that QS-3240 Spray Auxiliary be used at a concentration of 0.5-8% of the total formulation under certain conditions.
2. As a tank mix aid: QS-3240 spray adjuvant, when used as a tank mix adjuvant, can be used to increase spray coverage, increase absorption or reduce spray volume.
QS-3240 Spray adjuvant is most effective as a tank mix adjuvant when the spray mixture is 1) within the pH range of 5-8, and 2) used within 24 hours of preparation.
High spray volumes, combined with high surfactant levels, do not require adequate coverage of QS-3240 Spray adjuvant.
In fact, QS-3240 Spray adjuvant has the possibility to provide adequate coverage in many low volume spray applications at rates of 0.025% to 0.1%.
