Polyether-modified heptamethyltrisiloxane silicone oil is a commonly used silicone surfactant, which can improve the surface spreading effect of pesticides, improve the spreading performance of pesticides in spray application, and thus improve the pesticides efficacy.
Effectiveness of silicone surfactants in enhancing the efficacy of insecticides and herbicides. They are often formulated with agrochemical adjuvant to facilitate better penetration and uptake of active ingredients into plant tissues for more effective pest control.
Silicone surfactants are widely used in agriculture, including herbicides, insecticides, acaricides, fungicides and plant growth regulators.

Instructions for use:
1) In agrochemical formulations:
QS-307 spray adjuvant may be used as a component inagrochemical formulations. Although organosiliconesurfactants are subject to hydrolysis under acidic or basicconditions,optimum performance is achieved by buffering theformulation to pH 6.5 - 7.5
Additionally,it is recommendedthat QS-307 spray adjuvant be used at a concentration of 0.5-8%,based on the total formulation.
2) As a tank mix adjuvant:
QS-307 silicone adjuvant,when used as a tank-mix adjuvant may be used to improve spray coverage,improve uptake orto allow for a reduction in spray volume.
QS-307 silicone adjuvant is most effective as a tank-mix adjuvant whenspray mixtures are within a pH range of 5-8,and used within 24 hours of preparation.
High spray volumes,coupled with high surfactant rates,arenot required to achieve sufficient coverage with QS-307spray adjuvant.
In fact,QS-307 spray adjuvant has thepotential to provide adequate coverage in many low volumespray applications at rates between 0.025% and 0.1%
